Lying down, in a wheelchair or seated — safely to your destination and back again. As the first IVR-recognised patient transport provider in north-western Switzerland.
These institutions work with us

Between the hospital bed and the living room often lies the most uncomfortable hour of the day. Anyone travelling after an operation, in pain or in a wheelchair needs more than a vehicle — they need someone who knows how to transfer, secure and accompany a patient.
That is exactly why we exist. Our vehicles carry oxygen and a defibrillator, our staff are trained, and on every stretcher transport a second transport assistant always comes along. The Swiss Interassociation for Rescue Services (IVR) has audited and confirmed that we can do this — making us the first patient transport provider in north-western Switzerland to receive this recognition.

By phone or via the form. We clarify what the journey requires: stretcher, wheelchair or seated, oxygen, a second assistant, isolation. These details determine which vehicle and which crew set off.
The vehicle is there at the agreed time, with the ramp or lift extended before anyone has to go outside. Whoever is being picked up should not have to wait — least of all in the rain.
In your own wheelchair up the ramp, on the stretcher or with support onto the seat. We do not lift you awkwardly from one seat to another unless we have to — every transfer is a risk, and uncomfortable too.
Wheelchair in the four-point system, lap belt fastened, stretcher locked. It takes two minutes, and it is the part where we never cut corners. One accompanying person travels free of charge.
We take you inside — to reception, to the ward, to the waiting room. And if you wish, we will pick you up again after your appointment.
Who is ordering: hospital, care home, Spitex or private individual — with a contact person for queries and details of who receives the invoice.
Who we are transporting and what we need to look out for: oxygen, isolation, stair chair, companion — all with a single tick.
Set the date and pick-up time and enter the destination. Add the return journey straight away if needed.
The order reaches our dispatch team immediately. They schedule the vehicle and crew and get in touch if anything is unclear.
«As a relative, I was taken seriously and included in the process, which was an enormous relief for me. … The vehicle is modern, the equipment is convincing, and everything went calmly and without unnecessary stress, which was particularly important to my mother.»
«The staff were punctual, patient and extremely respectful towards the patient. In a sensitive situation, that cannot be taken for granted.»
«Throughout all these years, we have found the Mobimed team to be an extremely reliable, competent and committed partner. … We can recommend Mobimed without reservation!»
You can book a patient transport yourself, without any hospital involved: to the doctor, to an examination, to rehab or back home. We pick you up at your front door, a companion travels free of charge, and on request we will tell you the price in advance.

Spital Liestal, Bruderholzspital, Spital Laufen and the Stiftung Alters- & Pflegeheime Binningen work with us. For institutions, that means fixed procedures, case number and cost centre directly in the order, and one consolidated invoice instead of individual receipts.

Recognition by the Swiss Interassociation for Rescue Services (IVR/IAS) is not a self-assessment but the result of an external audit of vehicles, equipment, training and procedures. Mobimed was the first patient transport provider in north-western Switzerland to receive it — and still holds it today.
