Before you book
Please book planned journeys at least one day in advance where possible. This allows us to schedule the right vehicle and the right crew. We are happy to accept short-notice orders as soon as a vehicle is available — for these, it is best to call us directly.
Tell us what matters on site. A broken lift, a key left with a neighbour, a dog in the flat or a patient who is hard of hearing: details like these save everyone involved time and stress. Use the «Weitere Hinweise» (further notes) field for this.
Cost coverage usually requires a medical prescription. How your health insurer contributes to the costs is explained on our page Costs & health insurance.
In an emergency, dial 144. Mobimed only transports patients in a stable physical condition and does not provide emergency care. If you cannot reach us outside our operating hours, please contact your hospital or dial 144.

The first IVR-recognised patient transport service in north-western Switzerland
Recognition by the Swiss Interassociation for Rescue Services (IVR/IAS) is not a self-assessment but the result of an external audit of vehicles, equipment, training and procedures. Mobimed was the first patient transport provider in north-western Switzerland to receive it — and still holds it today.
