4143 Dornach · Schwarzbubenland · Canton of Solothurn — stretcher, wheelchair or seated
Mobimed provides patient transport in Dornach and the Schwarzbubenland, taking patients to Spital Dornach, to the Basel hospitals and to specialists — by stretcher, in a wheelchair or seated.
Dornach belongs to the canton of Solothurn but lies in the Birstal, in the middle of the Basel conurbation. Spital Dornach is in the town, and Basel and Arlesheim are close by. For the transport, the cantonal border makes no difference — we operate on the same terms as in Basel.
Of course, we also drive to any other address — to your GP, to physiotherapy, to a care home or back home after a hospital stay.
Many people from Dornach are treated in Basel, others at Spital Dornach itself. We drive in both directions and also handle transfers between Spital Dornach and the Basel hospitals — lying down or seated, with handover to the ward.

Recognition by the Swiss Interassociation for Rescue Services (IVR/IAS) is not a self-assessment but the result of an external audit of vehicles, equipment, training and procedures. Mobimed was the first patient transport provider in north-western Switzerland to receive it — and still holds it today.
