We use stretcher transport when sitting is not possible or not reasonable — for example after surgery or in severe pain. You travel in a wheelchair if you can sit but cannot walk. Seated transport is suitable for medically stable patients who only need help getting in and out. If in doubt, give us a call — we will clarify it in two minutes.
Yes. Our core area is Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft and north-western Switzerland. We drive throughout Switzerland and, through our medical repatriation service, to other European countries as well.
Yes. For recurring journeys such as dialysis, therapy or a sheltered workshop, we set up a fixed schedule with the same weekdays and times. Give us a call and we will arrange it.

Recognition by the Swiss Interassociation for Rescue Services (IVR/IAS) is not a self-assessment but the result of an external audit of vehicles, equipment, training and procedures. Mobimed was the first patient transport provider in north-western Switzerland to receive it — and still holds it today.
