Procedure

How the journey works

We collect you from your front door and drive you to Kleinbasel. At the Claraspital we accompany you to the admissions desk or onto the ward. If the appointment is short, we wait and then take you home — you do not have to arrange a return journey.

Close to Kleinbasel, Riehen and Birsfelden

The Claraspital is in Kleinbasel. For patients from Riehen, Birsfelden and the Kleinbasel neighbourhoods, the distances are short. If you need regular treatment, you can book the journeys with us as a fixed series — with the same times and, as far as possible, familiar faces.

Mobimed is an independent transport service and is not part of St. Claraspital. Please arrange appointments and medical questions directly with Claraspital. In an emergency, dial 144 — Mobimed is not an emergency ambulance service.

Verified, not just claimed

The first IVR-recognised patient transport service in north-western Switzerland

Recognition by the Swiss Interassociation for Rescue Services (IVR/IAS) is not a self-assessment but the result of an external audit of vehicles, equipment, training and procedures. Mobimed was the first patient transport provider in north-western Switzerland to receive it — and still holds it today.
