Procedure

How the journey works

We collect your child and an accompanying person from home, secure your child in an age-appropriate way and drive calmly to the UKBB. There we accompany you to the admissions desk. After the appointment we take you home together.

One parent always travels along

For children, a trip to hospital is often exciting enough. That is why a parent or another close caregiver always travels with us free of charge. When you book, tell us your child’s age and height and whether your own child seat or wheelchair is coming along — we will plan the right vehicle.

Mobimed is an independent transport service and is not part of Universitäts-Kinderspital beider Basel (UKBB). Please arrange appointments and medical questions directly with UKBB. In an emergency, dial 144 — Mobimed is not an emergency ambulance service.
