Procedure

How the journey works

For rehab admission, we collect you from the hospital ward, take your luggage, documents and mobility aids with us and bring you to the admissions desk at REHAB. After your stay we collect you again and take you home — in your own wheelchair if you wish.

In your own wheelchair — electric ones too

Patients treated at REHAB Basel often depend on a wheelchair, sometimes an electric one. Our vehicles have a ramp or lift. For electric wheelchairs we need the model and weight in advance so that we can plan the right vehicle.

Mobimed is an independent transport service and is not part of REHAB Basel. Please arrange appointments and medical questions directly with REHAB Basel. In an emergency, dial 144 — Mobimed is not an emergency ambulance service.
